Carter Lewis

Mr. Carter Lewis is an undergraduate student at Baylor University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He is in the Honors College at Baylor as part of the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core.

Mr. Lewis is currently serving as the President of Baylor University’s Association of Computing Machinery, where he collaborates with external partners to plan events, workshops, and information sessions to further develop the education of Computer Science students at Baylor. He is also employed as a barista at Magnolia Press, where he interacts with customers, makes drinks, and ensures the efficient processes of the restaurant. Additionally he leads a College Group through Highland Baptist Church, where he intentionally builds relationships and acts as a mentor for several young men.

In 2024, Mr. Lewis co-founded the Baylor cohort of Stanford University’s University Innovation Fellows (UIF), a nationally competitive program that empowers students to design creative, human-centered solutions to campus challenges. Through UIF, he has helped lead initiatives to improve student engagement and sustainability within university dining services.

Mr. Lewis is pursuing a career in Information Technology consulting, where he will continue gaining knowledge in the many diverse fields within technology with a focus on building client relationships.
