Year 2

Strategy Development

The next phase of this important work entails a collaborative process over the course of the 2025-2026 academic year to develop strategies for accomplishing Baylor’s sustainability goals, fulfilling Baylor’s sustainability vision, and elevating Baylor In Deeds. 

Committee members from year 1 will continue participating in year 2, serving as conveners in one of the 4 working groups tasked with strategy development for each goal.  Conveners will work in partnership with the Office of Sustainability to invite additional members to each working group and will develop strategies within the guidance provided by senior leadership.  Strategy development will take place through a parallel process facilitated* by the Office of Sustainability, culminating in a summit for stakeholder alignment. Strategies developed will serve as the basis for Baylor’s Sustainability Action Plan that will be presented to the President's Council during Summer of 2026.
