Resilient Hope in a Changing World

Climate Anxiety and Mindfulness is the kickoff event for Resilient Hope in a Changing World, a collaboration between the Baylor Sustainability Office and the Baylor Counseling Center.

Climate anxiety — also known as eco-anxiety — refers to the distress people may feel about climate change and its impacts on the natural world and human life. This response is normal, emotional, and adaptive in the face of environmental crisis.

This guest lecture will introduce mindfulness-based tools for coping and resilience. Attendees will also learn about campus resources and upcoming co-curricular opportunities designed to foster connection, restoration, and community.
