Dr. Jodien Matos Johnson is a senior lecturer in the Department of Sociology. She is also the Associate Direct of the Center for Community Research and Development, a research center on campus focused on providing applied sociological research for the local community. As an applied sociologist, Dr. Johnson uses sociological methodology to gather data about the local community as well as conduct research around food insecurity and sustainability programs. Dr. Johnson is regularly engaged in program evaluations, landscape analysis, and community satisfaction and engagement research for local community partners.
