Julie King, J.D.

Julie King is a teaching professor and undergraduate program director for the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences. She is also an attorney bringing decades of practice experience to her teaching and scholarship in the areas of environmental law, policy, and justice. Her scholarly activity has been in the areas of environmental justice and climate policy. As an environmental lawyer, Dr. King served as Baylor’s Pre-Law Coordinator and she continues to serve Baylor’s pre-law program as a pre-law advisor. In her role as undergraduate program director, Dr. King recently developed a Certificate in Environmental Science Sustainability program. Dr. King is regularly engaged in curriculum development and student engagement programs.
