Marlo Treece

Marlo Treece is a Senior Biology major with a minor in Environmental Studies here at Baylor University. She began working at the Office of Sustainability in August of 2024. Her specialization is biodiversity, where her major projects have been focused on leading Baylor’s certification for Tree Campus Higher Education and working towards Baylor’s certification with Bee Campus USA. Additionally, she has also helped with website development and marketing since being at the Office of Sustainability. She loves that this job has allowed her to be scientific and creative, while making a lasting impact!

Marlo is attending graduate school in Fall of 2025 at the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan. Working at the Office of Sustainability coupled with many meaningful educational experiences through research and in the classroom has led her to seek a career in this field. The practical experience gained through this position will act as a guide in future roles.

Marlo loves visiting coffee shops around Waco and enjoying time outside. Baylor’s trees are one of her favorite parts of campus, especially those close to Patt Neff Hall.
