Stephanie Boddie, Ph.D.

Dr. Stephanie Clintonia Boddie is the Fuller Family Endowed Chair for Social Justice and Associate Professor for Church and Community Ministries at the Diana R. Garland School of Social work with affiliations also with the Moody School of Education and the George W. Truett Theological Seminary. She is also affiliated with the Environmental Humanities minor, the Ethics Initiative, and other initiatives across campus.  She developed and teaches the course, Education From a Gardener's Perspective and co-leads the Growing Leaders and Learner's Initiative for K-12 educators. She serves as a member of Waco's  Sustainable Community and Regenerative Agriculture Project (S.C.R.A.P.) Collective and co-leads the S.C.R.A.P.@Baylor Initiative.  Her research is interdisciplinary, asset-based, community- engaged, multi-media, and action-oriented. She primarily works with congregations and schools.
